The Venice Marco Polo Airport, an international airport, sits 14 km away from Venice on the Venetian Lagoon’s shores. It takes just 20 minutes to reach our hotel via a water taxi. Moreover, we offer a private landing stage on the Grand Canal for taxi services.

THE TRANSFER

Upon arriving and gathering all your luggage, it is essential to get in touch with the switchboard operator to confirm your arrival. You can reach them at +39 041 716922. They will assign a water taxi to you and inform you of its number. You should reach pier number 11 within approximately 30 minutes.

1) Collect your luggage
2) Call +39 041 716922 for confirmation
3) you will receive the water taxi number
4) head to pier number 11

THE COST

The cost for one ride is Euro 165.00 for up to 5 people and 5 pieces of luggage.

Any additional bags will incur a fee of 5.00 Euros each, to be paid directly to the taxi driver.

If the number of passengers or pieces of luggage exceeds the initial communication, you will be required to pay the additional amount directly on the water taxi.

Each person beyond the first 5 > Euro 15.00
Each bag beyond the first 5 > Euro 5.00

HOW TO REACH THE DOCK

First from the arrival’s hall use the escalator situated at the centre of the hall to reach the first floor.  Then follow the signs for water transport and proceed on the long moving walkway. Take the escalator back to the ground floor, and make your way to pier number 11.  The journey takes around 7 minutes.

The waiting time between your call and the arrival of the water taxi is approximately 30 minutes.

If weather conditions are unfavourable and water taxis cannot reach the airport, the transfer will be organized by land with driver to Piazzale Roma and then by water taxi to the hotel.
